Job Responsibilities
- Scope projects using line diagrams, building schematics, pictures, and clarifying customer requirements
- Installs Vutility devices at project sites predominantly in US, but occasionally in Europe
- Creates and maintains all processes, best practices, or checklists
- Contributes to the full knowledge base including videos, how to documents, and customer FAQ
- Creates in-depth after-action reports
- Contributes to customer use cases and Vutility best practices
- Acts as the voice of the customer in describing any friction points for installs, scoping, or data retrieval
Skills
- Ability to read and follow SOWs, electrical and building schematics
- Create processes that move a project from inception to fulfillment
- Ability to fly to customer sites, assist in installations, and resolve any issues
- Hands on experience with wiring, running cables, electrical panels, breezeways, and techniques for installation in tight spaces
- Comfortable working safe with main lines or high voltage panels
- Amazing communication and customer service skills that will resolve any customer dissatisfaction
- Knowledge of 3 phase power systems; power system protection & control schemes, test equipment, test equipment software
- Must understand and have used current transformers and Rogowski coils
- In depth troubleshooting experience including using specialized tools to test circuits, find faults, and discover wiring needs of machines (2phase or 3phase)
- Technical writing and documentation experience
- Strong electrical safety background, NFPA 70E training preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate tight areas
- Experience and understanding of IOT and LoRaWan networks.

Qualifications
- Previous work in automation controls and system integration (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.)
- Has previous work experience with Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) or similar business models
- 5+ years electrician experience in industrial settings (10+ years preferred)
- Experience and skill in configuring, programming, installing, testing and troubleshooting network tools such as gateways, IOT devices, or cell hotspots.
- Has relevant industry certificates and safety training
- Experience working with all levels of customer management, including directors, FM’s, and engineers
