How it works

Self-Powered, Non-Contact Monitoring

HotDrop uses a split-core current transformer (CT) to measure the current flowing through a conductor. It is self-powered, harvesting power from the energy it measures. The device can be installed on a variety of circuit types (single-phase or multi-phase) and supports multiple HotDrops per panel for large-scale monitoring.
